22.12.2010 "The night I met T.S.Eliot-By deep_billie"
This is one of my poems, I'm a poet.."The corpse you planted, last year, in your garden, has it begun to sprout?"
I haulted for a moment,
"Allow me to explain",
To which he replied by nodding.
How could anyone explain what I had done this very winter eve?
I began by explaining how I first began to dig the grave,
I described how his screams shattered the dark,vacuum sky,
As I threw him in the grave where he knew that he would die,
As I shovelled more dust onto his writhing body,
The conscience that I never felt awoke within me,
I twisted my head hoping not to find any whitnesses,
I shovelled until I knew that he was buried and dead.
I threw my shovel on the ground and ran to the Valley in my Soul,
The abyss in my heart seemed the end of it all,
I contemplate deeply for a while in the dark,
My own self-condemnation, my own state of confinement,
Waiting for the absolute.
A man passed me by in his shabby attire,
He said philosophically: "Things do get better"
I rose from my knees, and it was a mirical, as I walked across the abyss,
In the darkness and desolation, in the dead of the night I began to think,
And that was when I met you this eve and you asked me about,
"That corpse you planted, last year, in your garden, has it begun to sprout?"
I asked him his name,
To which he replied:
"Eliot"
